Worms Merchandise Launched

Team 17 has announced the launch of the first Worms merchandise products, just in time for the Christmas holiday shopping period. The Worms brand has been at the forefront of modern distribution trends and has seen sales in excess of thirteen million on mobile phone handsets, as well as enjoying huge success on the new digital video-game platforms, with Number 1 hits on Xbox LIVE Arcade, PlayStation Network, and Steam for PC.

Team17 has confirmed that the first Worms merchandise items are now available, with the release of the Worms officially licensed “Super Sheep Plush”, based on the iconic weapon from the best-selling series. The “Super Sheep Plush” is a 29cm plush, which also includes a sound chip that plays the Super Sheep’s explosive fanfare when squeezed. The plush is available now from a variety of quality partners across Europe, including Amazon.co.uk and TheGeekestLink.com, with more to follow soon.

A fantastic Worms poster is also available now; a full colour ‘maxi’ poster that features five colourfully attired (and heavily armed!) Worms™ characters adorned with the slogan “WE’LL GET YOU!”, and can be purchased from here: http://www.gbposters.com/Worms-Characters-Maxi-Poster.
