In an unusual marketing stunt, Namco Bandai Partners UK Ltd. have teamed up with the world famous Frith St. Tattoo studio in the heart of Soho, London, to offer fans a free Tekken inspired tattoo to the celebrate the launch of the latest addition of the legendary videogame franchise, Tekken Tag Tournament 2. In order to get a permanent scar of a videogame franchise, simply turn up with a copy of the videogame.
The partnership, which is a videogame first, will see Frith St. Tattoo studio give the first five people that turn up with a copy of the game a free Tekken inspired tattoo voucher worth up to £300 GBP. Simply turn up to the Soho studio on 14th September 2012, with a copy of the videogame, browse through the Tekken inspired images from the official Tekken artists and book your appointment. The award winning artists, who are top of their fields in their respective styles, will be on hand to advice and talk through the process.
