At 3pm BST today the videogames industry will play host to a celebration of some of the finest interactive entertainment products to have graced the consumer marketplace over the last twelve months. Electronic Theatre is here at the Westminster Park Plaza to bring you all the latest details on all the Golden Joysticks winners live from the show floor.

15:00 – Future Publishing representative takes to the stage to introduce the awards ceremony, revealing the final vote count at 4,000,397.
15:05 – Video runs featuring a number of Future Publishing employees discussing their favourite videogames of the year.
15:08 – Host Ed Byrne is introduced.
15:09 – Byrne discussed his history of gaming, clearly a keen gamer in his youth.
15:12 – Moves line of comedy onto travel.
15:16 – Returns to gaming, discusses past experiences; highlights Mega Bomberman, WipEout 2097 and Resident Evil. Currently owns Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
15:18 – Goes live on YouTube, begins awards.
15:19 – Another video runs, inspired by gaming through the ages.
15:20 – Re-introduces host, Ed Byrne, for YouTube audience.
15:22 – Begins with Action/Adventure award, presented by Digital Spy’s Matthew Reynolds.
15:23 – Award goes to Batman: Arkham City.
15:25 – Strategy Game of the Year, presented by Graham Smith.
15:26 – Winner announced as Civilization V: Gods & Kings. 2K Games’ Ben Lawrence takes to the stage to collect the award.
15:27 – Mobile/Tablet Game of the Year, presented by EDGE. Winner announced as Angry Birds: Space.
15:28 – Hitman: Absolution trailer runs.
15:30 – Hitman: Sniper Challenge ‘Ultimate Assassin Award’ presented by the voice of Agent 47, David Bateson.
15:31 – Best Downloadable award presented by OXM’s Jon Hicks. Winner announced as the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft.
15:32 – Best Fighting Game of the Year, presented by Nuts Magazine. Winner revealed as Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition. Warner Bors. Interactive Entertainment’s Mark Ward collects the award.
15:34 – Shooter of the Year, presented by Alan Dickinson. Battlefield 3 takes the award.
15:35 – MMO of the Year, highlighted as ‘Deep Nerd Territory’ by Ed Byrne.
15:36 – Winner revealed as World of Tanks.
15:37 – Handheld Game of the Year, presented by a ‘special guest,’ a robot version of Stephen Fry.
15:39 – The robot Stephen Fry is actually well presented, remotely controlled live.
15:40 – Winner revealed as Uncharted: Golden Abyss.
15:42 – Top Gaming Moment of the Year is the next award, presented by The Mirror‘s Dan Silver. Winner revealed as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim‘s ‘Throat of the World’ questline.
15:43 – One to Watch award follows next, presented by hmv. Winner revealed as Grand Theft Auto V.
15:44 – Best Downloadable Content, sponsored by Official PlayStation Magazine.
15:45 – Winner revealed as Portal 2‘s Perpetual Testing Initiative.
15:46 – YouTube Gamer Award, a brand new award introduced by a video.
15:48 – Winner revealed as ‘Yogscast.’
15:50 – RPG of the Year is up next. Winner revealed as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
15:52 – Another video sequence, this time for a Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2.
15:53 – Sports Game of the Year, presented by Micheal Underwood. Winner revealed as FIFA 12.
15:55 – Browser Based/Flash Game of the Year, supported by CVG.
15:56 – Winner revealed as Slender.
15:57 – Best Racer of the Year is up next. Winner revealed as Forza Motorsport 4.
15:59 – Oustanding Contribution award comes next, voted for by the Golden Joystick judges.
15:59 – Winner revealed to be EA SPORTS’ FIFA franchise.
16:02 – Trailer for THQ’s Metro: Last Light runs.
16:04 – Final award is for the ‘Ultimate Game of the Year’. Revealed to be everybody’s favourite first-person RPG, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
16:06 – Event comes to a close.
