Following the release of a very successful demo version of Fairytale Fights on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Marketplace back in December, Playlogic Entertainment, Inc. has today announced the release of the first downloadable content (DLC) pack on PlayStation Network. Set to be available from 11th February 2010, the free Treasure Pack 1 DLC will bring four new playable characters and three new multiplayer arenas to Fairytale Fights.
SEGA Europe has confirmed an official release date for the highly anticipated third instalment in the widely respected Yakuza series. Set to debut this March exclusively on PlayStation 3, Yakuza 3 casts the player as Kiryu Kazuma on a quest to seek a new life in Okinawa.
Square Enix Ltd. has announced today that Thexder Neo is now available from PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3. The game, previously released for PlayStation Portable (PSP) in October 2009, is available to download from the PlayStation Store on across PAL territories, priced £7.99 and €7.99.
SEGA Europe and SEGA America have today announced that an online update is available now for the PlayStation 3 version of Bayonetta on PlayStation Network. This online update allows the game to be installed onto the console’s hard drive which significantly decreases the loading times for the game.
Valcon Games has today announced the European release of Polar Panic, developed and designed by Eiconic Games. Polar Panic is a classic arcade-style Puzzle/Action game with an arctic twist. The game is available for download across Europe starting today on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system for £6.29 in the UK and €7.99 in Europe.
Square Enix London Studios, a part of Square Enix Europe, today announced that Just Cause 2 for the PlayStation 3 will ship with a built-in video capture feature, allowing players to record clips of their greatest in-game exploits and upload directly to YouTube.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has revealed the launch date for the forthcoming highly-anticipated releases of both God of War III and the God of War III: Ultimate Trilogy Edition in Europe. The often thought cancelled European release of Star Ocean: The Last Hope International for PlayStation 3 has been reaffirmed for February. Bringing with it a number of features not previously available in the Xbox 360 version, Star Ocean: The Last Hope International includes the option to choose English or Japanese voiceovers and localised subtitles for the forty-or-so hours of epic Role-Playing Game (RPG) adventure.

Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) has today announced an official delay in the launch of it’s motion control device for the PlayStation 3. Still currently referred to as “Motion Controller (tentative name)”, despite reports suggesting a name has been finalised, the accessory will now launch in Autumn 2010 in Japan, Asian regions and countries, North America and Europe/PAL territories, missing the proposed spring 2010 date by some margin.
