Electronic Theatre Image            Nintendo’s GameCube has taken quite a beating in the UK over the last twelve months, and, with the advent of the Wii and with no Game Boy Evolution insight, it doesn’t look like things are going to get too much better. Electronic Theatre ImageThe following press release, which will undoubtedly be the most important piece of news for Nintendo fans since last year’s NintendoDS announcement, came in moments ago. Although, as usual, you can guarantee that this decision has not been made lightly – especially being Nintendo’s only real contender for the coveted Christmas No.1 spot – it will not doubt reaffirm many fans opinions of Nintendo being able to disappoint in equal measure as to they please, and be a harsh reminder of the delay suffered by the titles predecessor, The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

Chaos Field Secured for US

Electronic Theatre ImageO~3 Entertainment have announced that they will  publish Chaos Field for the Nintendo GameCube in North America . The game is expected to be available at retail for Holiday 2005. The title has been anticipated for some time and, with Chaos Field now securing a US release, its one step closer to the UK .

E3 2005: GameCube

Electronic Theatre Image            While many UK gamers have deemed the GameCube all but dead-and-buried, the industry itself would have a hard time considering the system anything but in its prime. With Revolution details still pretty thin on the ground, even after the systems’ unveiling, continuing to establish a GameCube user-base is still clearly top of Nintendo’s priorities.

E3 2004: Nintendo

Nintendo at E3. For many years the show was seen as dominated by Nintendo, but since mid-Nintendo64 cycle, Nintendo’s showing’s seem to have become more and more lack lustre, especially that of 2003 in the fans’ eyes. Although connectivity, in my opinion, is a fantastic idea (which Sony now seem to be interested in stealing), it wasn’t what the fans were screaming for, and multi-player GameCube renditions of Pac-Man and The Legend Of Zelda: The Four Swords just weren’t enough to keep them warm during the summer drought of European GameCube releases.
