9 October, 2011
By

The Final Fantasy series is in something of a quagmire at present. Far from the industry-leading franchise it once was, the recent bloodline titles have been heavily criticised for sticking too firmly to the existing template, failing to innovate or move with the times, and endless parade of spin-off titles has caused many to become dismayed with the seemingly money-grabbing attempts from its publisher, Square Enix.
