Electronic Theatre Preview: Inversion [Multiplayer]

15 May, 2012
By

Now approaching its summer release, Namco Bandai Games’ Inversion is heading straight into a heavily competitive genre. While third-person action videogames come in all shapes and sizes, there are very few that manage to compete on the same level as the current-generation’s defining offering, Gears of War. Having rewritten the rulebook for the high-definition era, Epic Games’ Xbox 360 lovechild is still sitting pretty at the top of the genre pile, but while Inversion gleefully borrows from the pioneering series it also has a few ideas of its own.

Electronic Theatre Preview: Call of Duty: Black Ops II

5 May, 2012
By

The official reveal of the long-rumoured Call of Duty: Black Ops II may not have gone according to plan for Activision, with leaks on both sides of the Atlantic leaving little to be seen when the preordained time came, but you’d still be foolish to bet against it being another groundbreaking success for one of the world’s most successful franchises. Electronic Theatre ImageSet for release later this year, Dead or Alive 5’s current level of expectation is a curiosity in itself.
