Sleeping Dogs to Make UK Debut at MCM London Comic Con

Electronic Theatre ImageThe line-up of highly anticipated titles set to appear at the MCM London Comic Con is growing almost daily, and the latest addition comes from Square Enix in the form of a mature themed videogame, Sleeping Dogs. The open world action videogame joins the likes of Lollipop Chainsaw, Aliens: Colonial Marines and Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor in making their playable UK debut this coming weekend.

In addition to the first UK playable demo for Square Enix’s Sleeping Dogs, visitors to the Square Enix stand will also be able to preview Nintendo 3DS exclusive rhythm videogame Theatrhythm Final Fantasy and puzzle platform title Quantum Conundrum. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will be giving Comic Con visitors the chance to preview superhero-themed action-adventure Electronic Theatre Imagesequel Lego Batman 2, while Namco Bandai will be holding a Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations tournament on MCM Stage B at 3.30pm BST on Saturday.

Namco Bandai will also be bringing Tekken Tag Tournament 2 arcade machines to MCM London Comic Con; not only is it one of the first opportunities for Tekken fans to try out the game, but the arcade machines themselves are very rare – there are none at all in the UK at all at present.

Rising Star’s stand will feature demo pods showcasing bullet hell shoot-’em-up Akai Katana and The King of Fighters XIII on Xbox 360; role-playing game Rune Factory Oceans on the PlayStation 3 and retro-style music videogame collection Bit.Trip Complete for Wii. Konami will be giving show visitors a flavour of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game and screening the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! film, Bonds Beyond Time. In addition, everyone taking part in a demonstration of the card game will receive a demo pack, Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game booster and Free Structure Deck flyer.
