Electronic Theatre ImageThe PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) console is set to launch throughout Europe next month, and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) have been very keen to get the localised advertising rolling. Latest off the block is Germany, which appears to be receiving not only some comical animated adverts, but also a series of shorts featuring some original characters.

With sound and frontend presentation clearly inspired by Warner Bros. world famous Looney Tunes, the PS Vita advertisement currently showing in Germany is likely to catch the attention of gaming fans for not only being an interesting demonstration of the PS Vita’s Electronic Theatre Imagecapabilities, but also for it’s seemingly random violence. Though no blood is shed, the character featured in this advertisement cannot be enjoying the final moments of the animation.

With a description roughly translated as “Starring the “Cannics” in funny episodes showcasing the features of the new gaming handhelds,” we can assume SCEE will be releasing more instalments in due course. Stay with  Electronic Theatre for all the latest on the PS Vita marketing campaign.
