With the high street disappearing and so many titles already available via digital channels, how much longer do you think videogames will be available at retail?

WiiU has most of its games release on eShop the same day as in shops so I think this will be the last gen you can buy discs for.

I’m still a keen supporter of the physical product. I’d much rather own the disc than some intangible digital rights, even if it was more expensive. And of course, that’s rarely the case anyway.

I agree, I much prefer buying and keeping the physical product rather than a digital copy.

Digital should be cheaper as no one has to buy the disc to put the game on!

Big part of gaming for me is the collecting of physical discs. Digital is just not the same.
