Iceberg Interactive and Noviy Disk have today announced that the PC conversion of From Software’s Action game Ninja Blade has gone gold, and is currently being shipped to the distributor. With the release of Ninja Blade coming up, Iceberg Interactive has also revealed the official pack shot for the PC release.

Iceberg Interactive CEO Erik Schreuder says: “With Ninja Blade, gamers will enjoy an adrenaline pumping game that combines immersive arcade ninja action, stunning graphics and a captivating storyline. While Ninja Blade was released online some weeks ago, we have jointly continued to work on the retail goldmaster and made some adjustments. The game can be played with a keyboard and also with a controller, copying that console experience but with top-notch PC graphics. We’re very excited to finally see the game being shipped to retail shelves and any fan of anime, manga, ninja or just insanely quick fighting action, should check it out.”

Ninja Blade is set within modern day Tokyo, where parasites known as alpha-worms have mysteriously appeared, unleashing a wave of human destruction as they rapidly spread east, reaching the shores of Tokyo. With the future of humankind hanging in the balance, an exclusive and elite team possessing highly specialized skills is formed to eliminate the enemy onslaught, and ultimately save mankind from complete obliteration.

Electronic Theatre delivered an in-depth review of the Xbox 360 release of Ninja Blade shortly after it’s European release, stating that; “Ninja Blade is an entirely enjoyable ride from start to finish, with some extraordinarily bizarre set-pieces holding interest through each of its’ nine lengthy missions.”

Ninja Blade will be available on PC at European retail from 19th February 2010, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on this and other forthcoming releases from Iceberg Interactive.
