To celebrate the launch of EA SPORTS’ FIFA 10 Ultimate Team expansion, Microsoft has announced that Xbox LIVE will be home to exclusive football tournaments, events and competitions this weekend. FIFA 10 Ultimate Team is available now to download for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, for only£3.99 through PlayStation Network or 400 Microsoft Points.
The original Ultimate Team expansion mode for FIFA 09 was the most popular Premium Downloadable Content (PDLC) expansion mode ever released by EA SPORTS, with over thirty-five million gold, silver and bronze packs opened, over fifty million auctions for players and items completed, and over ten billion in-game coins exchanged in trades as legions of football fans took on the challenge to put a personally crafted team up against the rest of the world. FIFA 10 Ultimate Team is half the price of the original - this year enables gamers to manage one
or multiple squads simultaneously, and compete against other gamers in dynamically updated online tournaments. Fans will be able to experience the game mode by creating a team with a starter pack of players and play a five game free trial.
EA SPORTS will also be unlocking their FIFA 10 Xbox LIVE online gaming mode free for everyone, so why not invite your friends with a Silver subscription for a kick about? It couldn't be simpler to join in the action; all you need is a copy of FIFA 10 on Xbox 360 and a broadband internet connection.
FIFA 10 Ultimate Team is available now to purchase for 400 Microsoft points or £3.99 as a download via Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network to FIFA 10. FIFA 10 and an internet connection are required for play. FIFA 10 Ultimate Team is developed by EA Canada in Burnaby, B.C, and is rated “E” for everyone by the ESRB and 3+ by PEGI. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on EA SPORTS’ FIFA franchise and future promotions on Xbox LIVE.
