Magicka: Wizard Wars is a fast-paced action videogame that utilises the humour and dynamic spellcasting system of Magicka, tasking players to form teams of four and blaze their way across the battlefield together, combining elements to cast Electronic Theatre Imagehundreds of different offensive and defensive spells. The videogame is being developed by Paradox North.

Featuring intense close-quarters combat, authentically inspired settings and weaponry, rich customization options, and large-scale battles, War of the Vikings will add a new unforgettable experience to Paradox’s close combat arsenal.

“The Bitsquid Game Engine is a great technology that enables us to develop better games at a faster pace. With the source code we have full flexibility. Features like real time collaboration and instant drop in play is great for productivity,” said Fatshark CEO, Martin Wahlund.

The Bitsquid Game Engine is licensable for creating videogames built from its inception to focus on performance, flexibility and productivity. The engine is compatible with platforms running on PCs (Windows, OS X), consoles (PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360) and high end mobile devices (Android, iOS). Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with future titles confirmed to utilise the Bitsquid Game Engine.
