Launching alongside Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two for home consoles, today sees the official release of Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion on Nintendo 3DS. Paying tribute to the classic Sega Mega-Drive title, Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion focuses on the fabledCastle ofIllusion which has now fallen into Wasteland, an alternate world filled with eighty years of forgotten Disney characters and theme park attractions.
Disney Epic Mickey: Power Of Illusion offers a special drawing and painting function that will allow players to create an interactive world by using the stylus to draw objects in the bottom screen that magically transform into classic Disney-style 2D illustrations. Utilising the videogame’s dual screen integration, players will then move their creations to the top screen where they are further transformed into beautiful, fully realised objects that pop off the screen in stereoscopic 3D.
The evil witch Mizrabel, villainess from the classic Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, finds herself an unwilling inhabitant of Wasteland, and unleashes a plot to escape using the Castle of Illusion to imprison and drain the cartoon essence from currently famous Toons. It’s up to players to put an end to her nefarious plan from today, exclusively on Nintendo 3DS. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion and other titles from Disney Interactive.
