Following the official launch of the Virtual Console platform on Wii U last week, Nintendo are pushing the retro content on Nintendo 3DS with a ‘Download Play Special’ this week. Selected Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console videogames that incorporate Download Play functionality, which enables those owning these selected titles to play two-player with a friend, without that friend having to download the videogame as well.

In addition to these new releases comes a string of sale items and further additions to all Nintendo’s digitally connected platforms. The full line up follows below and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest releases on the Nintendo eShop.
