Electronic Theatre ImageThe forthcoming Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl is set for release next year exclusively on Nintendo 3DS, and NIS America has revealed some of the new gameplay features that will be made available in this remake of the original Etrian Odyssey adventure. Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl promises to deliver more than thirty hours of first-person role-playing game (RPG) exploration in either Classic or Story mode.

In Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl, players will utilise the Nintendo 3DS system’s touchscreen to chart their path and create their own maps to keep the party alive in the face of the dangers that await. The videogame also contains a classic mode that offers the series’ staple robust character customisation and job Electronic Theatre Imageclass options, as well as a “Picnic” difficulty option to provide greater accessibility for players new to the series.

Each character will learn different skills based on their class, using brand new skill trees, and players can also use Grimoire Stones to learn new skills. Collect these special gems to grant your characters skills that your allies and/or enemies possess. There are over two hundred different monster skills plus ally skills to learn – the combinations are nearly endless.

Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl is set to launch exclusively on Nintendo 3DS in 2014, following the success of Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan earlier this year. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on the Etrian Odyssey videogame series.
