Get ready to defy gravity once more as Captain Viridian, when the cult videogame VVVVVV arrives on Nintendo 3DS. Also available from today are classic titles Sonic Labyrinth, Wonder Boy in Monster Land and the European debut of Monster World IV.
In VVVVVV, players must help the Captain navigate his crew’s way back to safety after their spaceship is unexpectedly under threat from dimensional interference. All-new Player Levels offer hours of additional gameplay, and 
include bonus stages created by professional game developers, such as Notch (Minecraft). Inspired by 8-bit classics from days gone by, and now in experience-heightening stereoscopic 3D, VVVVVV will challenge even the most battle-hardened old-school gamer.
Once again it’s up to you to help Sonic the Hedgehog in the age-old battle of good versus evil in Sonic Labyrinth, available now via the Nintendo eShop. In this classic Sonic the Hedgehog action-puzzler, Dr Robotnik has sneakily replaced Sonic’s shoes with a pair of magical trainers that thwart his famous super-sonic speeds. It’s up to you to track down the hallowed Chaos Emeralds which are the only items that will bring it back.
For the first time ever outside of Japan, you now have the chance to protect the kingdom from evil in Monster World IV, on Virtual Console for Wii. Take on the role of the young adventurer Asha and set out on a fascinating journey to save the Elemental Spirits, accompanied all along the way by your beloved pet Pepe and magical Genie. Making its way onto the Wii Shop Channel this week is a second retro classic, Wonder Boy in Monster Land, where you must fight the fire-breathing dragon and his evil henchmen to prevent them from creating their own Monster Land.
