Avanquest Software Publishing has released Mahjong Mysteries: Ancient Athena for the Nintendo DS, adding to their portfolio of best-selling titles for gamers on the go. Mahjong Mysteries: Ancient Athena is developed by Cerasus Media, and available for the Nintendo DS family of videogame consoles now.
Help adventurers Michelle Mosley and David Deanfield in their search for the lost temple. Follow the clues through the blistering sands of the desert to the fertile banks of the Nile, until you reach the mighty pyramids. Follow thetrail of ancient heroes, past the Oracle of Delphi and the Theatre of Dionysus to experience the mystery of the Gods of Olympus. Only by correctly combining the hieroglyphics will you complete all three hundred Mahjong levels.
Players will travel through Ancient Athena matching tiles to clear pairs. A tile is free when no other tiles border it on the left or the right. Within tile families, different tiles of the same family can be matched. Clear the tiles that will free up the most other matching tiles first. If three tiles are free, leave the one that covers the least important tiles. Take care of the tallest stack as early as you can and plan as many turns as possible in advance. The faster you are, the more points you will earn.
Play in Adventure Mode, choose your favourite Mahjong board in Classic Mode or try one of ten other variations. Mahjong Mysteries: Ancient Athena is available for Nintendo DS now with a recommended retail price (RRP) of £20.41, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest console releases from Avanquest Software Publishing.
