Square Enix Ltd. has today launched Mensa Academy, billed as ‘the ultimate brain training game.’ Mensa Academy offers players the ability to determine and improve their Mensa Academy score in Play, Coach and Test modes on Wii, Nintendo 3DS, PC and iOS formats.
Play mode challenges players to take on over one hundred replayable levels in five disciplines: Numeracy, Language, Logic, Memory, and Visual. For further training, players can use Coach mode to hone their abilities and assess their progress in key areas before taking their skills to the next level in completing the Test, and discovering their Mensa Academy score; see how all that brain training has paid off. Nintendo Wii players can take on their friends in a multiplayer mode to determine who the ultimate brainiac is, while iOS users can share their Mensa Academy score certificate via a variety of social networking channels, e-mail and SMS.
Mensa Academy is available from today in the United Kingdom, Scandinavia and PAL regions for Nintendo Wii and 3DS, Windows PC platforms, and iOS devices, and there is also North American version of the videogame, entitled American Mensa Academy, which will be available as a digital release on Windows PC platforms and iOS devices. Both versions will be available in the near future for high-defintion (HD) consoles and Android products, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details.
