Electronic Theatre ImageScribblenauts, the best-selling, award-winning puzzle videogame franchise that challenged players to imagine anything and bring it to life is set for a comeback with the upcoming release of Scribblenauts Unlimited for the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS, featuring more expansive gameplay and setting no limits on how the player uses his or her imagination within the videogame. Following the official reveal of both editions of the videogame last month, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has revealed a brand new trailer for each.

Created and developed by 5TH Cell, Scribblenauts Unlimited features a huge side-scrolling open world of forty one levels with new, high-definition (HD) hand-drawn scenery and objects where players can help the videogame’s hero, Maxwell, solve robust puzzles and challenges by summoning any object Electronic Theatre Imagethey can imagine. Players now have the ability to create their own original objects, assign unique properties, and share them with other players online – to be used in-game or further modified as they like. And for the first time, learn the back story about Maxwell’s parents, his twin sister Lily, and how he got his magical notepad.

While no official release date has yet been announced for either version of Scribblenauts Unlimited, it’s currently expected that both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS editions will launch this winter. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on Scribblenauts Unlimited, and other forthcoming titles from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
