The highly-anticipated ninth instalment in Square Enix’s much-loved Dragon Quest series is set to make its European debut next month, and to build on that anticipation Nintendo has today revealed a brand new English-language teaser trailer for the game. Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies has already become a phenomenon with players of all ages and backgrounds in Japan, with in excess of four million units sold.
In Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies, players begin their adventure as a guardian of a city who is sent to retrieve the fruits of a sacred tree that have the power to grant wishes. During their journey, players will encounter mighty opponents in fast, turn-based battle sequences, and also interact with a colourful cast of characters. Players will travel the world, conquer fearsome monsters and unravel an epic storyline.
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies is set for release across Europe on 23rd July 2010, exclusively on Nintendo DS, and the official website (http://www.nintendo.co.uk/) has been revamped to mark the impending release.
