The forthcoming official reveal of Dead Space 3 is perhaps one of the videogames industry’s worst kept secrets at present. A countdown on the official website prompted rumours of an announcement at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles next week, and today a series of new screenshots have revealed the rumoured co-operative mode.
Few details are currently available for Dead Space 3, though it’s currently believed that the videogame is in production for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and potentially Nintendo’s forthcoming Wii U console also. Our hero Isaac Clarke returns, as evidenced by these new screenshots, but also now with a new comrade. Exactly how Dead Space 3 will deliver the series’ trademark horror when be played by two gamers simultaneously remains to be seen, but at present Electronic Theatre can’t wait to find out.
Expected to be confirmed for release early in 2013 next week, Dead Space 3 is almost certain to be a highlight of publisher Electronic Arts’ E3 showcase. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on Dead Space 3, and other titles set to appear at E3 next week.
