Iceberg Interactive and WRF Studios have confirmed their cooperation on publishing Last Half of Darkness: Society of the Serpent Moon and have announced a release date for the newest instalment in the ominous point-and-click adventure series for PC. The companies, both known for their focus on adventure gaming, also teamed up in 2010, releasing Last Half of Darkness: Tomb of Zojir in European retail.
In Last Half of Darkness: Society of the Serpent Moon vampire-like murders are plaguing the dark streets and alleys of the tiny exotic European town of Antibes. After your fiancée was sent there to write and investigate a story, you receive a strange package with a booklet and mysterious disk. The return address on the package reveals it came from Antibes and it contains the bloodstained engagement ring you gave her. Your journey follows the path of clues left behind by your missing girlfriend, where along the way you will have to solve an ancient mystery and the source of evil causing the local townsfolk to turn into a rare breed of savage night-thirsty murderers.
Last Half of Darkness: Society of the Serpent Moon will be available for PC on the 18th May 2012. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details about this and future releases from Iceberg Interactive.
