Nexon Europe has announced the details of its appearance at gamescom, taking place from 15th to 19th August 2012, in Cologne, Germany. Nexon will be on hand with a total of ninety six gaming stations available on the show floor, and will also reveal two brand new titles for the very first time in Europe.
Nexon Europe will make a big appearance at gamescom this year with two exciting European premieres, publicly playable in Europe for the very first time. Both Shadow Company and a brand new title that is yet to be announced will be available at the show, with preliminary details on each title available below. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on both titles.
Shadow Company
A new online free-to-play first-person shooter (FPS) by the creators of Combat Arms, Shadow Company will be published in North America by Nexon America and in Europe by Nexon Europe in early 2013. Shadow Company utilises Unreal Engine 3 to deliver multiplayer gameplay with various sixteen-player gameplay modes, including the unique Blackmoney multiplayer mode (4 vs 4 vs 4 vs 4).
The Un-announced Title
The latest title from Nexon Europe will be revealed first at gamescom this year. It will be a naval real-time strategy (RTS) videogame.
“gamescom provides us with a great opportunity to reach out to both European press and community” said Sungjin Kim, Nexon’s CEO. “With free-to-play gaming becoming more and more popular all over Europe, we appreciate this great opportunity to let gamescom visitors play our newest games for the first time. The two new titles that we are bringing to Nexon Europe’s extensive portfolio of games really show the direction we are heading – taking free-to-play gaming to the next level.”
