Senscape’s Asylum project has been garnering a significant amount of attention lately, not least here at Electronic Theatre, and to celebrate the team has updated their Kickstarter campaign with an interesting new addition. The ‘Backer Spotlight’ is a new programme that invites Asylum’s backers to become involved in the project in a more meaningful way than a figure on a financial spreadsheet.

“As you may have realized, we’re almost halfway through this campaign, and things are certainly looking good as we’re about to hit 70% in funding.” States Agustín Cordes, Founder of Senscape. “But, nothing is set on stone, and I’m sure we can be even bigger with the amazing group we have.”

Cordes offers interested parties the option to download, edit and distribute a ‘Backer Pack’ of avatars for Asylum, available here, however more interesting is the ‘Backer Spotlight.’ An on-going project inviting fans to participate in the development of a documentary supporting the release of Asylum. The A Tour of Hanwell documentary will be an extensive “behind the scenes” feature covering the making of Asylum, but also will include audience reactions by way of perosnalised video recordings.

“You can send us a video where you talk about Asylum, why you like horror or adventures, your experiences with Scratches (if you played it), or just about anything else that comes to mind. All the clips we receive will become a big part of the documentary that I’m fairly positive many of you would enjoy.” Explains Cordes. “If you can’t send us a video, a picture will also work as we’re going to edit and compose everything with music and fancy effects. Any backer can send us material for the documentary regardless of their pledge.”

Senscape will start accepting submissions in the near future, with details set to follow on the Asylum Kickstarter page, http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/agustincordes/asylum-kickstart-the-horror. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on Asylum and other titles from Senscape.
