Gaijin Entertainment has announced that War Thunder has been updated to version 1.29, receiving a number of important and qualitative improvements. Starting in Russia on 1st November 2012, the War Thunder open beta has attracted more than one million gamers, and this new update will serve as a pleasant surprise for all of these pilots, providing not only welcome gameplay innovations but also a multiple enhancements, new features, and a more convenient and stylish user interface.
An important element of this update is the addition of “top” bombers for each country. Improvements have also extended to the game’s graphics and sound effects, with improved air brake animations, the addition of shells ricocheting from the ground and more realistic camera effects when shooting. The project now fully supports headset-tracker Gametrix vTrack MKI, the client size has been reduced and load times have been optimised.
