Unless you were living under a rock last week you’re most likely to have heard that Battlefield 4 is coming to current-generation systems later this year. Keeping that momentum moving forward, Electronic Arts has launched the official pre-order campaign for the highly anticipated videogame.
Battlefield 4 is billed as a ‘genre-defining action blockbuster’ said to be made from moments that ‘blur the line between game and glory.’ Fuelled by the new engine developed at DICE, Frostbite 3, Battlefield 4 promises to provide a visceral, dramatic experience. Only in Battlefield can you demolish the buildings shielding your enemy; only in Battlefield will you lead an assault from the back of a gun boat, and Battlefield 4 grants you the freedom to do more and be more while playing to your strengths and carving your own path to victory.
The already revealed Battlefield 4 pre-order bonuses available at retailers such as Amazon still stand, but the official campaign begins now with the reveal of the Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe Edition. Only available via Origin – sold alongside the standard edition – the Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe Edition is priced at £54.99 GBP and includes exclusive Battlefield 4 Beta access and further bonus content, as well as the premium expansion pack offered with a pre-order of the standard edition. Battlefield 4 is set for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC this winter, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on the highly anticipated videogame.
