First out of the gate were UK specialist GAME and supermarkets Asda and Tesco. Today however, Sainsbury’s have joined the race with a very competitive price.

The franchise that has defined a generation of gaming has set its sights on raising the bar with the all-new Call of Duty: Ghosts. Published by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward, the studio that created the original Call of Duty and the critically-acclaimed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Electronic Theatre Imageseries, Call of Duty: Ghosts ushers is built on an entirely new story, setting and cast, all powered by a new Call of Duty engine.

Sainsbury’s are currently advertising Call of Duty: Ghosts for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, with the console price sitting at £44.99 GBP and the PC retail package at £39.99. However, but entering the code ‘SEMAY13G’ at the checkout the price lowers by ten percent, meaning that the entry level price for Call of Duty: Ghosts drops to £35.99; significantly lower than any competitor is currently offering.
