Electronic Theatre ImageAt the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) last month Eidos-Montréal, a Square Enix studio, announced that the forthcoming Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut, would not only launch on Wii U, but also Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 Windows PC and Mac. Claiming to be the ‘definitive version’ of the critically acclaimed action-orientated role-playing game (RPG) title, it has since been confirmed that Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut will be tailored to benefit from each format’s unique features.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut will offer a full slate of second screen features for the Wii U GamePad, Microsoft’s SmartGlass, and the PlayStation Vita system that make the touchscreen interface Adam Jensen’s primary neural hub enhancement. These features are also said to be available for Windows PC and Mac formats, though no details on how they will be delivered have yet been confirmed.

Furthermore, the Tongs’s Rescue mission and the entire Missing Link downloadable content (DLC) chapter have been integrated into the narrative flow of Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut. Other core Deus Ex: Human Revolution augmentations include overhauled boss fights, refined balance and combat, improved AI, over eight hours of developer commentary and visual improvements. Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut will launch later this year, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on the videogame.
