Phoenix Online Studios has announced the release of an official demo version of their forthcoming Face Noir, a mystery adventure videogame releasing for PC later this month. Developed by Italian indie studio Mad Orange and localised into English by Phoenix Online Studios (development team behind of The Silver Lining and Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller), Face Noir is a moody tale that combines the intrigue and atmosphere of a Raymond Chandler novel or Humphrey Bogart film with classic point-n’-click adventure gameplay.
This demo sets the scene for Face Noir‘s atmospheric take on 1930s New York City, introduces the disillusioned private eye Jack Del Nero, and lets players jump in on his first case: the mystery of a missing dame named Susan Webber. The demo can be downloaded from the official website, www.facenoirgame.com.
Set to launch on 18th July 2013, Face Noir is available for pre-order for $15.99 USD (20% off the regular $19.99 price) and comes with a free MP3 soundtrack. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on Face Noir and other forthcoming titles from Phoenix Online Studios.
