Electronic Arts has today released the eleventh expansion pack for the hugely popular The Sims 3 videogame. The Sims 3: Into the Future sees players visited by a time traveller who asks for their help, and in return gifts them with a time portal. Using this portal, sims can travel to the future.
In The Sims 3: Into the Future, new Plumbots can be built and fully customised with the new “Create-A-Bot” mode, and players can create various trait chips that determines their personality, use and gameplay. Hoverboards, jetpacks, monorails and hovercars are introduced to the videogame as new transportation options and new careers include astronomers and bot dealers. Sims are also able to visit their future descendents during time travel, and can change or eliminate these descendents altogether.
Available both at retail and via digital distribution from today, The Sims 3: Into the Future is exclusive to the PC version of The Sims 3.
