Independent developers Reto-Moto have today revealed a brand new trailer for the forthcoming Heroes & Generals, designed to showcase the many aspects of the videogame. Known as the ‘Come Out to Play’ trailer, this new video presents players from the videogame’s community in action both in real-life, and on the virtual battlefield.
“We wish to create a living and breathing game universe, where we deliver the setting and the scene, but the real ‘star’ is the community who plays out all the active roles in a persistent war and helps us tweak the experience into the game that they want to play,” says Jacob Andersen, Game Director at Reto-Moto. “I believe that the ‘Come Out to Play’ trailer shows the scope of Heroes & Generals – and it’s just perfect that we have actual community members participating as actors in it!”
Heroes & Generals is a free-to-play online first-person shooter (FPS) with a strategic multiplayer campaign taking place in the European theatre of war during WWII. Players can choose to play as ‘Heroes’ fighting in the trenches or take a step back and manage battlefield assets, army units and reinforcements as ‘Generals’. Heroes & Generals is currently undergoing a closed beta testing phase, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on the videogame.
