Whether it’s a philosophy-quoting French striker launching a kung-fu kick at a spectator, or a troubled Nietzsche-tweeting midfielder trying to take out every single member of the opposing team, football brings out the best and the worst in players. You’ll experience all of this and more in Lords of Football, a football lifestyle simulation coming soon from developer Geniaware.
The first videogame of its kind in sports, Lords of Football doesn’t just allow you to manage a football team and the over-inflated ego of its players, but control their out-of-work activities, taking players to clubs, casinos and some of the more adult orientated night time pursuits. Each of these activities has a direct effect on players, and their ability to train and perform when Saturday comes.
“Pushing the limits of acceptable behaviour from players is a feature we’re really proud of in Lords of Football,” says Sean Griffiths, Development Director, Geniaware. “If you don’t keep on top of a player’s night time endeavours, they have the potential to go off the rails. It’s your job to manage the team, but also to manage their egos. Nothing comes as close to simulating the highs of on-the pitch action and the headaches of off-the-pitch indiscretions as Lords of Football.”
Developed by Geniaware under the watchful guidance of Gianluca Vialli, Lords of Football promises to deliver unprecedented freedom in the world of football, bringing true lifestyle features to a simulation for the very first time. It’s the only videogame where what happens on the pitch is directly related to what happens off it. Lords of Football is due for release soon on PC, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on the videogame.
