Publisher PQube, along with Milestone, has released the second gameplay video for MotoGP13, the official videogame of the MotoGP World Championship 2013. MotoGP13 is due for release in June 2013, and in this latest trailer fans can see the Gran Premio bwin de España, Jerez circuit, from a first-person perspective.
The videogame’s default riding view is third-person, with the camera set behind and above the rider. It displays an authentic light shaking and wind noise when racing at high speeds. This is a customisable view, with the distance between the camera and the bike being adjustable during gameplay. In addition however, MotoGP13 will offer both cockpit and helmet views, giving you an accurate, real-life perspective of the track through the eyes of the rider.
“There’s one main concept which we wanted to carry throughout the whole game, a simple concept, but a very important one, “be the rider”. In considering this concept, we created the “helmet view”, this is the most immersive and compelling way to ride, where the visuals, audio and dynamics recreate the actual rider’s point of view. We have made it realistic, but in a way that is accessible to everyone, you can easily switch to it and feel comfortable using it in no time”, affirms Michele Caletti, Game Director, Milestone.
Developed by Milestone studio, published in the UK by PQube, MotoGP13 is available to pre-order now and scheduled for release in June 2013 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC and PlayStation Vita. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on the forthcoming MotoGP13.
