Following the release of the critically acclaimed Pool Nation on Xbox 360 last year and more recently on PlayStation 3, UK studio Cherry Pop Games has today announced a brand new rendition designed exclusively for PlayStation 4. Set to be known as Pool Nation FX, Cherry Pop Games will launch this new release this holiday season.
Pool Nation FX has a host of new features and exclusive gameplay modes for its PlayStation 4 release, which will be announced over the coming months. However it has been confirmed that the PlayStation 4 edition of Pool Nation will include the all-new Box of Tricks mode that was first revealed as part of the Steam Greenlight campaign for the PC release.
Cherry Pop’s Gemma Jessop confirms, “Not only can you pull off the maddest, craziest trickshots ever seen in a pool game, but you can use the objects in pretty much anyway you see fit - let your imagination go wild!
“Our Box of Tricks, it’s a cool bit of kit – there’s never been a trickshot mode quite like it. It gives gamers the opportunity to create hours of fun gameplay, which they can then share with their friends… personally I can’t wait to see what trickshots are created!”
Cherry Pop Games are an indie Studio based in Manchester, UK, with one ballsy aim: to take the simple game of billiards to another level. The PlayStation 4 launch of Pool Nation FX promises to be the best version yet, packed with brand new gameplay features.
