Ripstone Confirm 3 PlayStation Plus Exclusive Titles

Electronic Theatre ImageNewly formed videogame publisher Ripstone has announced three new titles in collaboration with Sony Computer Entertainment’s (SCEE) ‘PlayStation Plus Presents’ service. Ripstone will launch Knytt Underground, Big Sky Infinity and an unannounced title as part of PlayStation Plus Presents as an eight week exclusive to the service.

PlayStation Plus is a service for the PlayStation Network which provides PlayStation 3 users access to premium and exclusive content for £39.99 GBP per year. Key PlayStation Plus features include full videogame trials, special offers on videogames and other content, and online storage for videogame saves. ‘PlayStation Plus Presents’ is a European exclusive initiative which searches Electronic Theatre Image for the very best independently developed titles and allows them to be downloaded on the service at no cost for eight weeks after launch.

Knytt Underground is a videogame developed by Nifflas and Green Hill and is due for release on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita (PS Vita). Knytt Underground, the latest in the hugely popular Knytt series, will offer players a new platform experience whilst keeping true to the original game that players worldwide have grown to adore.

Big Sky Infinity is the much anticipated sequel to Really Big Sky. Big Sky Infinity iterates upon its predecessor with similar controls and procedurally generated content to provide another exciting experience for gamers. Big Sky Infinity is being developed by BossElectronic Theatre Image Baddie and VooFoo Studios and is due to be released on the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita platforms.

Knytt Underground and Big Sky Infinity were playable at Gamescom last week, in the PlayStation Plus section of the SCEE booth.
