Vivec Entertainment has announced postponement of the release for the forthcoming of the first-person horror adventure videogame Shadow of a Soul. Intended to launch on PC and Mac formats in May 2013, the PlayStation 3 version of the videogame will now be released in early 2014.
Shadow of a Soul revolves around a thief named Jack who is on an industrial espionage mission to steal the blueprints of a new product. At the office complex, he discovers much more to the place than originally meets the eye. The unnatural sounds and horrifying visions give Jack the unnerving feeling he has been ensnared by a malignant presence. Jack’s terrifying journey will lead him to several mysterious encounters that leave indelible marks on his mind, as well as on his flesh.
“Ever since the first trailer of the game, The Room, was released on December 20, 2012, the response from gamers has been uniformly positive and encouraging. As an indie developer, I want to create a game that is worthy of all the support I’ve received thus far. I’ve decided to postpone the release in order to fully achieve my goal of creating an intense and scary game,” says Ferzan K. Aygen, CEO of Vivec Entertainment.
Shadow of a Soul has been in development for two years and is being developed primarily for Windows and Macintosh platforms. The PlayStation version of the videogame is planned for an early 2014 release, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on Shadow of a Soul.
