VooFoo Studios and Ripstone have released free downloadable content for Pure Chess to coincide with the official soundtrack launch and latest patch for the game. Created by independent games developers, VooFoo Studios and developed with the aid of a chess Grandmaster Pure Chess, which was released earlier this year, is a classic strategy board game with a series of interactive game modes, various tutorials and stunning graphics, allowing anyone from beginners to International Masters looking to move up a rank the chance to take part and develop their skills.
The latest downloadable content, Battalion, is available to download for free for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita and features a new chess set. The name of the new set was picked by Twitter competition winner Adam Richards, who was selected from
