One of the most highly anticipated PlayStation exclusives of the year has finally launched today, as Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) bring PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale to retail stores throughout PAL territories. Available now for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale offers cross-play for up to four players on either console.
PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale is a crossover brawler featuring over twenty first- and third-party characters famous from a range of videogame franchises. From Kratos to Sly Cooper, Sweet Tooth to PaRappa the Rapper, PlayStation characters from all over the gaming spectrum are brought together in a fighting adventure that’s both easy to play, and hard to master. Each playable character has its own unique set of attacks and moves, and the videogame features both online and in local play. Additional features include, tournaments, rivalries, an award system designed to encourage competition, full 1080p high-definition (HD) output, a range of different PlayStation themed play environments and full PlayStation trophy support.
Available for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita now, PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale can be purchased at retail for both formats and as a downloadable title via the PlayStation Network for the handheld format.
