Tecmo Koei Europe are quickly becoming one of the strongest third-party supporters of the PlayStation Vita, seemingly keen to push the technology in new directions while adapting the existing franchises. Dead or Alive 5 Plus is the latest title set to do just that, with a number of additional features specific to the PlayStation Vita hardware.
Electronic Theatre has already reported on the all-new Touch Play Mode, a new gameplay mode in which gamers can fight from a first-person perspective, but in addition Dead or Alive 5 Plus will also feature the Training Plus Mode and the promise of more detailed frame data for character animation. More than this however, Dead or Alive 5 Plus will also offer interconnectivity with the PlayStation 3’s Dead or Alive 5.
Cross-platform features will allow Dead or Alive 5 Plus players to fight in bouts against opponents on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Additionally, all costume downloadable content (DLC) packs purchased on either format will be available across both platforms. Dead or Alive 5 Plus is set to launch on PlayStation Vita on 22nd March 2013, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on this and other forthcoming titles from Tecmo Koei Europe.
