Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has begun the distribution of free redemption codes for the critically acclaimed MotorStorm RC as compensation for the delay in the release of Ratchet & Clank: QForce on the PlayStation Vita. The redemption codes are delivered automatically to the e-mail inbox associated with your PlayStation Network account.
Ratchet & Clank: QForce launched for the PlayStation 3 in November 2012, and at that time SCEE announced that the PlayStation Vita version would be available from January 2013, as part of the PlayStation’s ‘Cross Buy’ range. For those gamers who have purchased the PlayStation 3 version of the videogame and are waiting for your PlayStation Vita entitlement, SCEE are attempting to appease you by offering MotorStorm RC as a free download.
SCEE will also provide gamers affected with a free download of Ratchet: Gladiator on PlayStation 3 when it releases on PlayStation Store. No date for this second offering has been announced, though it will likely arrive prior to the launch of the PlayStation Vita version of Ratchet & Clank: QForce. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on the Ratchet & Clank: QForce saga as it continues.
