Ubisoft has today launched Just Dance 2014, the newest instalment of the best selling dance videogame franchise. Available now for Wii, Wii U, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Just Dance 2014 is also accompanied by the recently released Autodance 2014 by Just Dance companion app.
Continuing the tradition of including a variety of the hottest new songs and old school hits, Just Dance 2014 includes more than forty five top songs with highlights such as Applause by Lady Gaga, Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke Ft. Pharrell, Kiss You by One Direction, Get Lucky by Daft Punk Ft. Pharrell Williams, Starships by Nicki Minaj and also Roar by Katy Perry, available as a free downloadable content (DLC) from today.
“Just Dance has been able to take my music to a more interactive level and connect millions of fans with the songs in a way that brings them into the actual experience. I look forward to watching people dance to our music in the game for years to come,” says famous songwriter/producer Dr. Luke, who notably composed and produced Katy Perry’s Roar included in Just Dance 2014.
With whole new features this year, Just Dance takes the experience a step further for the fans, notably with the World Dance Floor, Just Dance’s first-ever online multiplayer mode, where players join a virtual crew – made up of real-life friends or other Just Dance fans – compete based on different themes (“Boys Vs Girls”, “Crew Vs Crew” etc.) and dance with the whole world.
Just Dance 2014 is available now for now for Wii, Wii U, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and will also be released for PlayStation 4 and for Xbox One at each console’s launch. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on Just Dance 2014 including an in-depth review coming soon.
