Namco Bandai Games Europe S.A.S. has revealed the first in a new series of ‘behind the scenes’ videos for the forthcoming Inversion, a new videogame set to launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC this summer. Inversion is an action videogame with a unique gravity-shifting mechanic, and features a full co-operative campaign.
Set in the near future, an unforeseen invasion by an unknown enemy called the Lutadore quickly brings civilisation to its knees. Armed to the teeth with futuristic gravity-controlling
weapons, the Lutadore easily overrun the human’s defences. Unbeknownst to all, mysterious anomalies have surfaced in conjunction with the invasion. Random regions in the city have entered zero gravity or have suffered vector changes, throwing the world into topsy-turvy chaos. Assuming the role of Davis Russel, a hot-headed 28-year-old cop, or Leo Delgado, Davis’ neighbour, players will embark on a journey through the war ravaged gravity twisted disorienting streets of their home town and beyond, to find Davis’ missing child.
The first part of the new ‘behind the scenes’ video series is available just below, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on Inversion as it approaches release next month.
