Following the official launch Dogfight 1942 last week publisher City Interactive has released a brand new trailer for the videogame. Entitled ‘Arcade Explosion,’ it’s pretty easy to predict that this video delivers an action-packed overview of the videogame.
By combining the pick-up-and-play design of an arcade videogame, the convenience of digital download, with the depth and production value typically found only in traditional retail titles, Dogfight 1942 brings new life to the aerial combat genre in a manner rarely seen in the modern industry. Electronic Theatre delivered an in-depth review of Dogfight 1942 prior to release, stating: “just as Ace Combat: Assault Horizon pushed flight combat into new territory, so too does Dogfight 1942 make the genre more accessible and more appealing to causal action gaming enthusiasts.”
Dogfight 1942 launched on Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360 on 5th September 2012, for 1,200 Microsoft Points, and will be followed closely by versions for both the PC and PlayStation 3. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on Dogfight 1942 and other titles from City Interactive.
