With the PlayStation 3 exclusive beta testing phase for Ubisoft’s forthcoming Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood underway, the publisher has taken the opportunity to reveal a brand new character playable in the multiplayer component. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is set for release next month, on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a PC version set to follow at a later date.
The newly revealed multiplayer character, as is demonstrated in the trailer below, is the Footpad. Cutting through groups of people, the Footpad moves towards his target as silent and deadly as a snake. Quickly, he rushes to his victim, brandishes his two Knives and plants them into flesh, as if they were fangs. The target falls, the crowd screams, but the Footpad has already vanished.
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood will be available simultaneously on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 from 18th November 2010, with the PC version set to follow early next year. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and other forthcoming releases from Ubisoft.
