Today, at the 10th Birthday of the SEGA Dreamcast in the United States, redspotgames has announced Rush Rush Rally Racing, a brand new videogame release exclusively for the Dreamcast. Forget about sponsored cars and realistic environments. This is just plain old fun.
Senile Team and redspotgames will bring this old school 2D Racing game in October 2009 to online stores as a worldwide simultaneous release. The team are anticipating widespread availability at various online retailers, and even several high street videogame stores. However, the game will mainly be sold directly at the redspotgames online store, and the pre-order has already started at a price of only 15,00 EUR / US$ 22.00 / 2.200,00 Yen.
Rush Rush Rally Racing is set to feature a single-player Grand Prix mode with four difficulty levels and three multi-player modes for up to four players across a total of nineteen different courses. The game features five cars and will be compatible with original Dreamcast pads, arcade stick, and third-party controllers. Along with supporting PAL (50/60 Hz), NTSC and VGA displays, the game will not be region encoded.
Rush Rush Rally Racing is set to make a stand as the last DreamCast game to see release in Europe, and for that will no doubt have many fans anticipating it’s launch. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest on Rush Rush Rally Racing.
