Electronic Theatre ImageEidos Montréal and a Square Enix Ltd. recently announced the ‘Director’s Cut’ of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the updated version of the critically acclaimed action-RPG title, is coming soon exclusively to Nintendo’s Wii U system. Following that announcement some clarification has been offered on just what will make this new edition unique.

Praised for its in-game art and cinema-quality storyline, Deus Ex: Human Revolution has garnered critical acclaim from the media and consumers alike since its original release in August 2011. The Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut features include visual improvements, overhauled boss fights and rearranged combat mechanics, as well as a full slate of Wii U GamePad features. Touchscreen hacking, interactive map editing, augmented sniping, grenade throwbacks and many other neural hub enhancements will be included, along with in-depth Miiverse integration and access to developer commentaries and in-game guides.

Tongs’s Rescue mission and the entire Missing Link chapter have also been integrated seamlessly into the narrative flow of Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut. Other core Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut augmentations include a refined game balance and combat, improved AI, and visual improvements.
