Following the disclosure of all-new gameplay details for THQ’s forthcoming SpongeBob SquigglePants for Wii uDraw and Nintendo 3DS, the official box art design has also been revealed. Set for release next month, the entire game is hosted by Patchy the Pirate in a live action experience for an added level of under-the-sea silliness.

Comparable to the fabulous WarioWare series, SpongeBob SquigglePants features more than one hundred microgames in which players will tilt, flick, tap and draw against the time limit. Never-before-seen SpongeBob art collections are unlocked from the Nickelodeon vault and featured in six zany worlds as Patchy the Pirate, President of SpongeBob’s fan club, serves as a guide of the game in a never-before-seen live action experience.

In the Wii uDraw version of the game, players can create, colour and draw anything imaginable with custom paints, palettes, stamps and art tools. Create a masterpiece worth of a place in Patchy’s own collection of SpongeBob Art, or your own refrigerator, thanks to the SD-Card Support: uDraw capability enables players to save, share and print their artwork.

SpongeBob SquigglePants is due for release for Wii uDraw on 15th April 2011, with the release date for the Nintendo 3DS version yet to be confirmed. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details.
