Reminded would be purchasers of the free DLC, THQ has revealed a small selection of new details concerning the new gameplay mode.
In the forthcoming Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Exterminatus Mode DLC players will be able to choose from three different types of marine, the Tactical Marine, Devastator or Assault Marine, as well as utilising any weapons and perks available to those classes. Each of the Exterminatus scenarios, ‘Assault on Hab Center Andreas’ and ‘Escape From Kalkys Facility’ feature multiple arenas and global leaderboards, encouraging you to take the risk on dynamic in-game challenges that pop-up during play. For example, “Kill 10 Orks in 10 seconds”. With extra lives and points up for grabs if you complete the challenge.
Experience earned while playing this mode also counts towards multiplayer ranks, allowing you to level up in both Co-Operative and Competitive Multiplayer modes. The Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Exterminatus Mode DLC will be available from an unspecified point next month, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details.
