The much-delayed Xbox 360 exclusive Kinect Star Wars may finally have a release date set for it, according to a UK high street retail store. Argos has listed the highly anticipated videogame in its Spring/Summer 2012 catalogue for release in April.
Kinect Star Wars is a brand new Star Wars videogame designed exclusively for the Xbox 360 Kinect device. Throughout its development the videogame has been both criticised and praised for its
motion-controlled gameplay. During Electronic Theatre’s time with Kinect Star Wars we found it to be both responsive and an enjoyable experience. As with many gamers, the team here at Electronic Theatre are very keen to see what is eventually made of the huge potential of Kinect Star Wars.
Of course, Argos’ listing is far from confirmation – their official website makes no mention of the videogame, let alone a release date – but as Microsoft Game Studios has previously stated that Kinect Star Wars is due to arrive this spring, it’s very possible that the listing is closer to the actual date than we’ve ever been before. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on Kinect Star Wars, and other forthcoming Xbox 360 exclusive releases.
